Emergency Responder Refresher Training ($325 per individual)

This course is designed to meet the requirements of OSHA for refresher training of emergency response personnel who will respond to leaks or spills of chemicals for the purpose of stopping the leak or spill. It is specifically aimed at ammonia users, but will relate to many other chemicals. It can be tailored to other specific chemicals in your workplace. OSHA requires that all personnel who are expected to respond to spills or leaks must have this annual refresher training.

On-Scene Incident Commander Training ($325 per individual)

This course is designed to meet the requirements of OSHA for Incident Commander training of emergency response personnel who will respond to leaks or spills of chemicals for the purpose of stopping the leak or spill.

It is specifically aimed at ammonia users, but will relate to many other chemicals. It can be tailored to other specific chemicals in your workplace. OSHA requires that all personnel who are expected to lead the response teams that respond to spills or leaks must have this training.

Valves Workshop ($715 per individual)

The purpose of this Hand-On workshop is to develop an understanding of the function, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of all type of valves used in our industry. This three (3) day workshop will include the most common valves manufacturers:

  • Hansen
  • Parker/RS
  • Danfoss

Understanding and Maintaining Your PSM Program ($765 per individual)

This hands-on workshop will provide an in depth review and evaluation of your existing PSM program. There will be three main areas of focus all based on your PSM program.

  1. You will develop an understanding of the contents that are to be in each element.
  2. You will use, review and evaluate your existing PSM program. This will allow you to understand how your program is organized and where to find information. 
  3. Through an understanding of each element and an evaluation of the contents, you will be able to highlight any areas needing improvement.

Level I Ammonia Refrigeration Operator Training ($875 per individual)

Level I Ammonia Refrigeration Operator Training is designed for all personnel who manipulate the ammonia refrigeration system. After completing this course, you should have a basic understanding of ammonia refrigeration principles (classroom) and demonstrate proficiency and competency with the operating procedures for your facility (hands-on). You will be awarded a certificate of completion after satisfactorily passing the examination given at the end of class. Refresher training should be conducted every three years or more often as necessary depending on the complexity and operation of the ammonia system.

SOP/PM/MOP Workshop ($875 per individual)

The purpose of this four (4) day workshop is to develop an understanding of the requirements for developing and maintaining Proper Standardized Operating Procedures (SOPs) and proper Preventive Maintenance (PMs) frequencies, tasks and procedures (MOPs) that will meet the requirements of our industry and that of OSHA and EPA. This workshop will allow the attendee to bring their current SOPs, PMs and MOPs and review them to ensure they meet all the requirements (and identify any shortcomings) or to understand how to develop SOPs, PMs and MOPs such that they will be correct and meet all the requirements.

Level II Intermediate Refrigeration ($1050 per individual)

This course is for personnel involved in the operation and maintenance of ammonia refrigeration systems. After completion of the course, you will have a better understanding of the workings of an ammonia refrigeration system including; single and two stage systems, fundamentals for both types, and proper pumpdown techniques. Additionally, you will understand how to read and understand P & ID's, PFD's electrical and assembly drawings.

This course will also serve as a three-year refresher for process Safety management training.
